Lutron is the worldwide leader in lighting, automated shade, and temperature controls, with headquarters in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania and engineering offices in Boston, Philadelphia, South Florida, Austin, and Cincinnati. As a private corporation guided by our founder’s simple but profound Five Principles, Lutron has a long history of significant growth and smart innovations.

Lutron light control products range from individual dimmers to total light management systems that control entire building complexes. Some of the larger Lutron light control systems in the US include the 52-story New York Times Building in New York; Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia; and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

On the commercial side, light controls are essential in hotels, restaurants, retail stores, conference facilities, educational facilities, hospitals, museums, and public spaces. Lutron light control systems beautify some of the world’s most prestigious public locations: the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain; and the Bank of China headquarters in Beijing, to name just a few.

Five Principles of Lutron:
Over the years, our business has continued to grow dramatically, both domestically and internationally. We began with only 2 products, and now provide over 15,000 products to our global customers. Lutron’s success is a result of the strong principles and philosophies, which guide our growth. Our founder, Joel Spira, developed five principles:
I. Take care of the customer with superior goods and services.
II. Take care of the company.
III. Take care of the people.
IV. Innovate with high quality products.
V. Deliver value to the customer.

These principles guide each of us in the business decisions we make each day.

Hardrock Casino and Hotel

6/2/2025 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM REGISTER (in person) Rosaria Pipitone

Hard Rock International started out by sounding like the opening scene of the ultimate road trip movie: two friends, their love of music, great food, a Zen faith in serendipity, and a deserted Rolls Royce dealership in downtown London. In 1971, Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton opened an American diner in England. They called it ""Hard Rock Cafe."" Their original idea had nothing to do with market studies or target audiences—it didn’t even have anything to do with memorabilia. That was serendipity. Clapton wants to save his favorite table? Sure, we’ll put his guitar on the wall above it.
What began as a single cafe has grown in the past 50+ years to include so much more: cafes, hotels, casinos, Rock Shops, and live performance venues all around the world. Hard Rock has grown up a bit since the early days, and we have big plans to mature even more. But from day one, we’ve succeeded by never losing sight of what makes a Hard Rock experience so memorable.
