1. Describe your interest in serving on the EACE Board in this capacity.

I am eager to serve as EACE Director, Member Services, because my seven years of volunteer leadership have given me a deep understanding of the organization, its members, and what it takes to deliver meaningful engagement. My earliest involvement was with the Connections Committee, where I served as a member and then co-chair for over two years. The committee’s mission is to connect employers and colleges through the Professional Exchange program, which requires cultivating employer partner hosts, coordinating site visits, promoting events, managing logistics, and reporting outcomes to the Board. This work grounded my appreciation for EACE’s member-driven core and sparked my passion for collaborative service. Co-chairing the 2025 Annual Conference provided valuable experience managing a large-scale initiative and collaborating across committees, strengthening my ability to support volunteer leaders and enhance member experiences. Currently, as co-chair of the Webinars and Virtual Programming Committee, we have focused on reimagining year-round engagement and value delivery, creating initiatives such as Rapid Roundtables and Virtual Summits. These programs were designed with member needs and professional development in mind, further honing my skills in supporting committees, fostering participation, and ensuring initiatives are relevant, collaborative, inclusive, and impactful. These experiences, recognized through three EACE Presidential Citations, have strengthened my ability to lead initiatives that are both impactful and sustainable for members. Serving as Director, Member Services would allow me to return “home” to the Connections Committee and support engagement across EACE, advocating for members, strengthening volunteer leadership, and ensuring every initiative delivers tangible value.

2. What skills and experiences do you possess that have prepared you to be successful in this role?

I bring a combination of professional leadership, volunteer service, and formal training that prepares me to serve as Director, Member Services. In my full-time role as Senior Director of the Career Development Center at Elizabethtown College, I lead programs connecting students with employers, coordinate large-scale institutional initiatives, and mentor staff and student teams. This work requires strategic planning, relationship management, and cross-stakeholder collaboration, all directly applicable to supporting EACE members and volunteer committees. Completing the NACE Leadership Management Institute in 2025 strengthened my ability to lead teams effectively, design sustainable programs, and approach challenges strategically, skills I apply both professionally and in my volunteer service with EACE. Over seven years with EACE, including co-chairing the Connections Committee and the Webinars/Virtual Programming Committee, I have applied these skills to engage members, empower volunteers, and deliver high-value programs such as the 2025 Annual Conference, Professional Exchanges, Rapid Roundtables, and Virtual Summits. These experiences allowed me to listen to member needs, innovate within committee structures, and create initiatives that are both impactful and sustainable. Together, my professional expertise, volunteer leadership, and formal training equip me to serve as a strategic, member-focused advocate who can strengthen committee engagement, enhance member experiences, and ensure EACE continues to deliver relevant, inclusive, and high-impact programs.

3. What ideas and/or goals do you have for this position?

As Director, Member Services, my goal is to maximize value for all EACE members by ensuring their needs and interests are represented and supported. Drawing on seven years of volunteer leadership, including co-chairing the Connections Committee, I have firsthand experience advocating for members, facilitating engagement, and supporting both employer and college constituents through initiatives like the Professional Exchange. Co-chairing the 2025 Annual Conference strengthened my ability to collaborate across committees, manage complex initiatives, and ensure high-quality member experiences. More recently, as co-chair of the Webinars and Virtual Programming Committee, I have focused on supporting volunteer leaders and delivering innovative, member-driven programs such as Rapid Roundtables and Virtual Summits to enhance engagement year-round. I would prioritize empowering committees, strengthening communication, and fostering inclusive collaboration to ensure initiatives align with member priorities and are executed efficiently. My goal is to help members feel connected, supported, and valued, reinforcing a vibrant, engaged, and inclusive EACE community. With this combination of direct committee experience, leadership across major programs, and recognition through three EACE Presidential Citations, I am well-positioned to serve as a champion for members.
