Calling All Employers!

Are you interested in expanding your employer brand and recruiting efforts to college students and alumni from across the United States?

Would you like to have ambassadors on some of the top college campuses who can speak to students about your organization's open positions and/or internship or co-op programs?

The Professional Exchange Program gives your organization an opportunity to host a virtual site visit during summer 2023 for our college career service professionals to learn more about career opportunities at your organization. Career services staff will then be able to help you create awareness of your internship and/or career opportunities with their college students and alumniEmployer host registration is FREE

As an employer host, your site visit agenda and format is up to you, but here are some ideas:

  • Virtual tour
  • Panel discussion
  • Entry-level job and internship information
  • Company overview presentation

In the past, HBO, Morgan Stanley, CVS Caremark, WarnerMedia, MassMutual and many other organizations have participated in the Professional Exchange Program.

The deadline for employers to register as a host for the 2023 program is April 4, 2023. Contact the Connections Committee Co-Chairs to inquire on late registration.

FAQ

Are in-person site visits available?

A limited number of in-person site visits MAY be available for the 2023 Professional Exchange program. You will have the option to indicate interest in hosting an in-person site visit on the employer registration form. The Connections Committee is particularly looking for in-person site visits in the Baltimore, Maryland region on dates surrounding the EACE 2023 Annual Conference June 26-28, 2023.

Do employers need to follow a certain structure for the site visit?

We ultimately trust the employer to have the freedom to plan and develop the visit in a way that our members will most benefit and learn about the opportunities available in your organization to take back to their campuses. Your EACE Connections Committee Site Manager can help you determine the best structure for your site visit.

How long are these site visits?

Typically, a site visit is about 1-2 hours. The time frame can be flexible according to the employer’s needs.

Where will the virtual site visits be conducted?

Employer organizations are responsible for providing their own technology for their virtual site visit. Examples of virtual meeting platforms include Brazen, Zoom, GoToMeeting, Skype, etc. You should plan to schedule a practice run with your site manager at 3-4 weeks prior to your site visit.

Can the employer determine how many attendees they are able to accommodate?

Absolutely. The employer will be asked to determine how many people they are able to host on their virtual platform, and registration for your visit will be capped at that number.

Will we have a list of participants prior to the event and will we be able to obtain the required forms for security clearance, if necessary?

Yes, a list of the participants can be provided and an EACE Committee member will serve as your liaison. Participants will complete any required forms that you need in advance. Our goal is to work with you.

Do I need to be an EACE member to host a site visit?

No. The employer hosts do not need to be EACE members.
