City Year

City Year is a national education nonprofit organization that mobilizes young adults (ages 17–25) for a full year of service as "Student Success Coaches" in systematically under-resourced public schools.

As part of a diverse team, City Year AmeriCorps members act as tutors, mentors, and role models, partnering with teachers to help students improve their academic performance, attendance, and social-emotional skills—key factors in graduating high school and succeeding in college or careers.
